JASDF version of the new Hasegawa 1/48 Sabre, with markings for the Blue Impulse aerobatic team. The F-40 was the Mitsubishi license-built version of the U.S. G-40. Wing slats are not separately molded. This new Sabre kit, though pricey, fully does this classic warplane justice. Beautiful surface detail throughout is crisply-molded with no flash. Gear bays and interior behind air brakes fully detailed. Instrument panel is in full relief, but a decal is also included. Comes with missiles and drop tanks.
